The Student Council is formed by fourteen senior school students who are elected through direct student voting each year. Working with various groups and community members across the school, including staff, parents and alumni, our primary purpose is to serve as a platform through which students can voice their opinions and views.
PRESIDENTIAL / VICE PRESIDENTIAL STATEMENT

Progress: this single word is at the heart of the Student Council ethos this year.
Building on the achievements and groundwork laid by King Yeung Luk and Vicky Ling, last year’s President and Vice President, we have certainly come far in terms of making progress.
Our year began with reforms in the internal structure of the SC. The fourteen members of the Student Council divided themselves into five subcommittees, each with a specific purpose as well as set of goals and aims. Shortly after this, in January 2015, we recruited more than fifty new members to be part of these subcommittees in order to expand our operations.
Ensuring transparency and accountability has always been a priority for the Student Council, and this has undoubtedly been achieved through the creation of subcommittees as we are able to not only communicate further with students but also involve more of the student body in the decision-making of the Student Council.
We still have half a year ahead of us, and we look forward to continue serving and representing the student body in the months ahead!
